CedarTech Timberscape by Suttle Recreation

CedarTech Timberscape is Suttle Recreation’s proprietary line of Natural Log play equipment. Designed to combine the beauty and sensory appeal of wood with unique physical and social play events, they will enhance any play space and will last for many years with minimal maintenance.

Based on the idea of open play, they offer multiple ways to be used, either for quiet, imaginative social play or as challenges to climb. 

The natural texture and colors of the wood enhance the visual appeal of the whole playground.

We have decades of experience designing and installing playgrounds of all types, and we realized that something was missing from the natural log playgrounds available in the market. Since most were being made as a sideline for factory-produced metal and plastic playgrounds, their design was limited to the same shapes, just changing the metal posts for wooden logs.

We wanted to design natural play spaces that would remind us of tree forts, or of playing in the forest, we wanted to keep the spirit and excitement of climbing a log jam in a creek.

To make them modern and appealing, we decided to make our line of play equipment with bold geometries that would look good next to a heritage building or next to modern architecture.
